opentaps Open Source CRM Module
The opentaps CRM module is an add-on module which offers Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation (SFA)
capabilities for your opentaps/OFBiz application. It helps your sales team and customer service representatives track sales leads,
contacts, and accounts; manage sales opportunities, cases, activities, and events; and create sales forecasts.
It is fully compatible with OFBiz and will work seamlessly with the rest of your OFBiz applications. To help fund the ongoing
development of this application, it is released under a
dual open source and commercial license for both open source and commercial use.

Licensing
The opentaps CRM module is freely available to you under
the Honest Public License (HPL), a modified version of the GNU GPL license
with additional clarification for hosting and for software as a service.
It allows you to download, use, modify, and re-distribute the module free of charge, but it also imposes obigations upon you as well.
Being based on the GPL, the HPL is a very different license than the MIT/Apache license of OFBiz. Please consult an attorney to understand what its
obligations are.
If you do not wish to be bound by the HPL in your use of this application, we also offer commercial licenses which meet the needs
of users, vendors, and services providers.
Proceeds from commercial licenses help further the development of the software and
support the community.
